Joel is a transactional attorney, with experience in mergers, acquisitions, financings, venture capital transactions, private securities offerings, and business formation. In addition, Joel assists clients with their day-to-day legal issues, such as contract review and drafting.
Joel was named to the 2008 Wisconsin Rising Stars listing in “Wisconsin Super Lawyers”.
In 2002, Joel graduated with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was a member of The Journal of Gender, Race and Justice and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with honors, from the University of Iowa in 1997.
Joel is a member of the American, Wisconsin and Dane County Bar Associations, and has been practicing law in Madison, Wisconsin since 2002.
